Downgrad iPhone from 2.0 to 1.1.4 (incl Baseband and Bootloader)

Hi all,

this is a small Guide on how to repair/restore your iPhone after upgrading to 2.0.

After you follow ALL steps you should have a fully functional, jailbroken iPhone running on 1.1.4 Firmware incl working signal!

So here is how it works, please note that this guide is more focused on Windows User.

Preperation:
Software/Files needed:
- iTunes 7.5 or 7.6
- Firmware 1.1.4
- iLiberty (Mac) + or ZiPhone 3.0 (Mac)
- WinRar or any unpacking software
- KiPhone (Mac)

Guide:

Step 1:
Make shure your iPhone has got Firmware 2.0.

Step 2:
De-install iTunes 7.7 and reboot your computer

Step 3:
Go to "Control Panel" -> "Software" and de-install following apps:
- AppleMobileDeviceHelper
- Apple Software update

Step 4:
Klick on "Start" -> "Run..." and type %appdata%
- Open the folder "Apple Computer"
- Delete Folder "iTunes"

Open your Windows Explorer and direct to your "MyDocuments" then to "MyMusic"
- Delete the Folder "iTunes"

Step 5:
Unpack the iTunes 7.5 or 7.6 installer.
Go into the new created folder and open "AppleMobileDeviceHelper.exe" file and let it install.

Step 6:
Install iTunes 7.5 or 7.6

Step 7:

(How to get into DFU mode)

Step 8:
After iTunes detects you iPhone:
- Hold the "Shift" button pressed and klick "Restore"
- Select the downloaded 1.1.4 Firmware and press "Ok"
- Let iTunes restore your iPhone

IT ERRORS ARE TOTALY NORMAL!

Step 9:
Open KiPhone and only check the boxes
- "Downgrade Baseband"
- "Debug Boot"
- Hit "Start" and lay back...
...this may take a couple of minutes - so chill out and go for a smoke or someting.

Step 10:
Go back into iTunes and restore to 1.1.4 AGAIN!

Step 11:
Use iLiberty or ZiPhone or any other jailbraiking apps to unlock, activate and jailbreak your iPhone.

Step 12:
Voila! You have got a restored and repaired iPhone - Have Fun and DONT upgrade to 2.0 again before no stable jailbreak is available.
